Before you begin
Connect your iPhone to the internet before you begin. The illustrations are simple learning aids; your App Store screen or confirmation method may look different.
Open the App Store
Find the App Store on your iPhone and open it. Use Search to look for KakaoTalk.
If the App Store asks for your Apple Account, follow the instructions on your iPhone. This guide does not need access to your account.
Check the app listing
Open the KakaoTalk listing and check that the developer is Kakao Corp. Read the listing before starting the download.
Take a moment to check the developer, especially when several search results look similar.
Tap Get and confirm
Tap Get, or the download symbol if the app was downloaded before. Your iPhone may ask you to confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple Account password. Follow the prompt shown on your device.
You complete any identity confirmation on your own iPhone. Never send your password to someone offering to install the app for you.
Open KakaoTalk
When installation is complete, tap Open. You can also open the app from your home screen or App Library. Continue with the app's account instructions.

The App Store can show a download symbol for an app associated with a previous download. Follow the store's prompt to download it again.
